Beginner 1
This is the most basic Spanish course and is a great place to start, whether you want to start a life-time language journey, or learn some useful and fun phrases for an upcoming trip! In this course, you will learn:
- Basic introductions
- Useful phrases and expressions
- Basic vocabulary pertaining to travel, hobbies and family and more
- Intro to essential verbs
Beginner Spanish 2
8 Weeks on Tuesdays
5:30-6:30pm PST
January 16-March 5, 2024
Beginner 2
This course is a nice continuation of the Beginner Spanish 1 course, as it re-visits much of the same topics, but it extended contexts. You will learn:
- Extended introductions
- More useful phrases and expressions
- More basic vocabulary pertaining to health, weather, restaurants and more
- Extended uses of essential verbs
Intermediate Spanish 1
8 Weeks on Wednesdays

January 17-March 6, 2024
Intermediate 1
This course offers a smooth transition from the Beginner classes and introduces more grammatical structures, including the past tenses. You will learn:
- Vocabulary pertaining to the house, pastimes, relaxation and stress and more
- Grammatical structures, including the present progressive and reflexive verbs
- Intro to the preterite tense to talk about what you did last week and what you ate last night
- Differences between por and para
Intermediate Spanish 2
8 Weeks on Tuesdays

Intermediate 2
This course explores several rotating conversational topics, while exploring more grammatical structures. You will learn:
- Vocabulary pertaining to future plans, the natural world, memories and more
- Preterite tense and the imperfect tenses to tell a story in the past
- Grammatical structures, including future, conditional and perfect tenses
- Subjunctive

Diverse reading assignments and class discussions provide the structure of this constantly evolving course. All levels are welcome, however, expect a faster pace and higher level of spoken Spanish.
